About

Sirron diesel engines were two-stroke marine engines produced by the Newbury Diesel Company (1932–1967) in Berkshire, England, designed by H. Kent-Norris ("Norris" reversed). Known for powering coasters and tugs (notably for Everard Shipping), these engines were direct-reversing, used compressed air for starting, and were often paired directly to propellers.
